The Nordost Red Dawn USB Cable is a high-performance digital cable designed specifically for modern USB-C audio sources. As Nordost’s first USB cable to offer USB-C compatibility, Red Dawn is an excellent choice for connecting computers, music servers, streamers, and other USB-C devices to high-performance DACs and digital audio components. Red Dawn uses stranded silver-plated 99.9999% OFC conductors with Nordost’s proprietary Micro Mono-Filament technology and precision FEP insulation. Its specialized hybrid twisted-pair/non-twisted-pair geometry is engineered around USB signal requirements, while a dual layer of braid and foil shielding provides 100% total shield coverage to help protect the digital signal from EMI and RFI interference.
