Overview
Nordost QSOURCE Linear Power Supply – QRT Series
The Nordost QSOURCE Linear Power Supply is a premium, fanless linear power supply engineered specifically for high-performance HiFi audio systems. It provides stable, clean DC power at multiple selectable voltages while maintaining extremely low noise levels, helping compatible audio components operate with a cleaner and more consistent power source.
At the heart of the QSOURCE is a high-quality transformer combined with Nordost’s specialized circuit design. An internal QRT module is used to smooth the DC output and reduce electrical anomalies and noise artifacts from the incoming power. Nordost designed the QSOURCE for excellent regulation, very low ripple, and strong transient response.

Flexible DC Power Outputs
The QSOURCE provides six DC outputs, making it useful for both Nordost QRT products and compatible third-party HiFi components. Four outputs provide 5V DC and are specifically intended for QPOINT Resonance Synchronizers. Two additional outputs provide selectable voltage options:
- Output 5: 9V, 12V, or 19V
- Output 6: 12V, 19V, or 24V
This flexibility allows the QSOURCE to power a variety of compatible DC-powered audio electronics when the correct voltage and connector requirements are met.

QSOURCE DC Cable Options
Nordost offers purpose-built QSOURCE DC Cables for connecting the power supply to compatible equipment. The standard cable uses 2 × 22 AWG silver-plated solid-core OFC conductors, Micro Mono-Filament construction, FEP insulation, and shielded twisted pairs. A Premium QSOURCE DC Cable upgrades the conductor size to 2 × 18 AWG.
Available termination configurations include LEMO-to-LEMO, LEMO-to-5.5 × 2.1mm, and LEMO-to-5.5 × 2.5mm DC connectors.
