Overview
Nordost QLINE Ground Wire – QRT Series
The Nordost QLINE Ground Wire is a purpose-built grounding cable designed to connect the ground post of a Nordost QBASE AC Distribution Unit to a dedicated external ground rod or grounding box. It provides a low-resistance grounding path designed to help address ground loops, AC hum, and unwanted electrical noise in high-performance HiFi systems.
QLINE combines Nordost’s patented Micro Mono-Filament technology with extruded FEP insulation and a heavy-gauge 10 AWG, 231-strand plated 99.9999% OFC conductor. Nordost offers the cable in multiple lengths with airtight, waterproof terminations for installation flexibility.

Designed for QBASE Grounding
QLINE serves as the connection between the external ground post on a Nordost QBASE and a properly installed dedicated external grounding solution. Nordost states that proper grounding can help lower the system's noise floor and improve imaging and spatial presentation.
Important: Dedicated or secondary grounding arrangements may be restricted by local electrical codes. Nordost recommends consulting a qualified local electrician before installing an external ground rod or grounding system.
