Nordost QBASE Reference QB10 – AC Distribution Unit
The Nordost QBASE Reference QB10 is a reference-level AC distribution unit designed to provide a clean, stable foundation for uncompromising high-end audio systems. Rather than functioning as a conventional power conditioner, the QBASE Reference uses a filter-less, passive approach, allowing connected components to receive unrestricted AC current while addressing grounding, electrical noise, and mechanical resonance.
At the heart of the QB10 is Nordost’s Star Earth topology, which provides ground separation for connected components and directs stray voltages and eddy currents toward a central ground point. Its sophisticated internal architecture combines a dual-PCB design, symmetrical live/neutral topology, separate grounding, and multiple technologies derived from Nordost’s QRT range.
