Nordost QBASE Mark III – AC Distribution Units

The Nordost QBASE Mark III is a premium AC distribution solution designed to provide a solid power foundation for high-performance two-channel and HiFi systems. Available as the QB4 Mark III, QB6 Mark III, and QB8 Mark III, the QBASE uses Nordost’s unique Star-Earth topology to manage grounding while maintaining a direct, unrestricted AC path to connected components.

Unlike traditional power conditioners, QBASE Mark III uses no in-line filtering or active circuitry. Its passive architecture is designed to maintain low AC supply impedance and maximize current delivery while reducing interaction between the signal and ground paths of connected components.

Input & Power Configuration

Depending on configuration, the QBASE Mark III platform supports C-14 IEC (15A/10A) and C-20 IEC (20A/16A) inputs. Output configurations include US, EU Schuko, Australian, and 13A UK, depending on the QBASE model.

Nordost QRT Stand Mount

The optional QRT Stand Mount provides additional installation flexibility for compatible Nordost QRT products. For the QBASE Mark III family, it allows the unit to be supported with Nordost Sort Kones, wall-mounted, or raised and stabilized above a floor or equipment rack. Nordost specifies compatibility with QB4, QB6, and QB8 Mark II and Mark III models.
