Nordost Purple Flare 3 Speaker Cables – Leif 3 Series
The Nordost Purple Flare 3 Speaker Cables bring Nordost’s distinctive flat-cable geometry to high-performance stereo systems, offering a significant step up within the Leif 3 Series. Designed to balance low resistance, capacitance, and inductance, Purple Flare 3 provides an efficient signal path between your amplifier and loudspeakers.
Purple Flare 3 is constructed with 16 × 24 AWG silver-plated 99.9999% solid-core OFC conductors surrounded by precision-extruded FEP insulation. Compared with conventional cable geometries, Nordost’s flat construction and mechanically tuned conductor spacing are designed to preserve dynamics, detail, and musical impact. (Nordost)

Purple Flare 3 can be factory terminated with gold-plated Z-plug Banana connectors or gold-plated Spade connectors. The standard spade has a 6.5mm (1/4") internal opening, while a larger 8.5mm gold-plated spade is also available for compatible binding posts. (Nordost)
