Overview
Nordost Leifstyle Tonearm Cable
The Nordost Leifstyle Tonearm Cable is a purpose-built phono cable designed to bring Nordost technology to vinyl playback at an accessible level. Created specifically for the delicate low-level signal generated by a phono cartridge, it uses a low-capacitance, individually shielded construction to help preserve detail while reducing noise and inter-channel crosstalk. (Nordost)
The cable features four 28 AWG silver-plated 99.9999% OFC solid-core conductors, arranged as two individually shielded twisted pairs for the left and right channels. A dedicated 24 AWG OFC ground/bond wire provides proper grounding between turntable and phono equipment. (Nordost)

Available Connector Options
The Leifstyle Tonearm Cable is available with several termination options, making it compatible with a wide variety of turntables, tonearms, and phono stages:
DIN — For compatible tonearms and turntables
RCA — For traditional single-ended phono connections
XLR — For compatible balanced phono systems
Nordost uses gold-plated connectors along with gold-plated 5mm spades on the ground/bond wire. (Nordost)
Designed for Vinyl Playback
Because a phono cartridge produces an extremely low-level signal, cable geometry, shielding, grounding, and capacitance are particularly important. Nordost designed the Leifstyle Tonearm Cable specifically for this application rather than adapting a conventional analog interconnect. (Nordost)
