The Nordost Frey 2 USB-C Cable is a high-performance digital audio cable designed for HiFi systems that use modern USB-C sources. Ideal for connecting computers, music servers, streamers, and digital transports to high-end DACs and USB-enabled audio components, Frey 2 brings Nordost’s advanced Norse 2 technology to computer audio.
Frey 2 uses solid-core, silver-plated 99.99999% OFC conductors with Nordost’s proprietary Micro Mono-Filament technology. Each conductor is precision wound to accommodate USB’s hybrid twisted-pair/non-twisted-pair geometry, while mechanically tuned cable lengths help reduce internal microphonics and high-frequency impedance resonance.
