Nordost Frey 2 Speaker Cables – Norse 2 Series

The Nordost Frey 2 Speaker Cables are premium high-performance loudspeaker cables from the Norse 2 Series, engineered to deliver exceptional detail, dynamic range, weight, and musical impact. Using Nordost’s proprietary Micro Mono-Filament technology, Frey 2 creates a virtual air dielectric around its conductors to support ultra-fast, low-loss signal transfer between amplifier and loudspeakers.

Frey 2 features 22 × 22 AWG silver-plated 99.99999% solid-core OFC conductors combined with extruded flat-ribbon FEP insulation. Mechanically tuned conductor spacing and cable length help maintain controlled electrical and mechanical characteristics, making Frey 2 an excellent choice for revealing high-end stereo systems.

Micro Mono-Filament Technology

Nordost’s proprietary Micro Mono-Filament construction creates a virtual air dielectric around each conductor. Combined with FEP insulation and silver-plated solid-core OFC conductors, this construction is designed to minimize dielectric interaction and provide fast, low-loss signal transmission.

Banana & Spade Connector Options

Frey 2 Speaker Cables are available with gold-plated Z-plug Banana connectors or gold-plated Spade connectors.

Standard spades feature a 6.5mm (1/4") internal opening and 12mm external width. A larger 8.5mm internal / 15mm external gold-plated spade is also available for compatible binding posts.
