Three headphone connections accommodate a variety of cable configurations: a 6.35mm single-ended jack, a balanced 4.4mm Pentaconn socket and a balanced four-pin XLR output. Up to three pairs of headphones can remain connected, allowing you to switch between them according to your listening preferences.

With a rated output of 1.5 watts RMS per channel into 16 ohms, the amplifier is specified for headphones with an impedance of 16 ohms and above. Its range of connections makes it a versatile foundation for a high-performance headphone collection.

The Uniti Atom Headphone Edition brings streaming services and locally stored music together through Naim's integrated streaming platform.

Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz and internet radio provide access to extensive music catalogs, while Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in and Bluetooth offer convenient wireless playback from compatible devices. Roon Ready certification and UPnP support extend its capabilities to networked music libraries and dedicated music servers.

The player supports WAV files up to 32-bit/384kHz, FLAC and AIFF up to 24-bit/384kHz, and DSD64 and DSD128. Gapless playback is supported across its compatible audio formats, making it particularly suitable for live albums and classical recordings.

A Complete Streaming Preamplifier

The Uniti Atom Headphone Edition is more than a standalone headphone system. Balanced stereo XLR preamplifier outputs allow it to connect to compatible active loudspeakers or an external power amplifier, while an RCA sub/pre output provides additional system flexibility.

A stereo RCA input accommodates an external analog source, such as a turntable connected through a suitable phono preamplifier. Two optical digital inputs and one coaxial digital input allow additional components to take advantage of the Atom's integrated digital-to-analog conversion.

For custom-integrated systems, Naim lists compatibility with Control4, Crestron, ELAN, RTI and Savant, making the Atom suitable for consideration within a professionally designed smart home.
