The Naim NPX TT is a dedicated external power supply engineered specifically for the Naim NVC TT moving magnet and moving coil phono preamplifier. Part of Naim's New Classic 300 Series, it provides clean, stable power to support the NVC TT's sensitive analog circuitry, offering a dedicated power solution for high-performance vinyl playback.

Designed and developed in Salisbury, England, the NPX TT combines carefully selected electronic components, precision engineering and Naim's distinctive aluminum construction. It can be added as an upgrade to an existing NVC TT installation or used to power the phono stage when integrating it with compatible third-party and legacy Naim systems.

Dedicated Power for the NVC TT Phono Stage

Vinyl playback begins with exceptionally small electrical signals, particularly when using low-output moving coil cartridges. Providing stable power to the phono preamplifier is therefore an important consideration in a high-performance analog system.

The NPX TT is purpose-built to supply the NVC TT with a dedicated power source. Naim employs specially designed electronic circuitry and selected components to provide clean, stable power, with the aim of improving the phono stage's sound quality.

Rather than serving as a universal external power supply, the NPX TT is specifically designed for the NVC TT, ensuring the two components operate as a coordinated system.

Flexible Integration with Naim New Classic Systems

The NVC TT can receive power directly from compatible Naim preamplifiers, including the NSC 222 and NAC 332. Adding the NPX TT provides an alternative dedicated power source for the phono stage.

This arrangement allows owners to develop their analog playback systems without replacing their existing Naim preamplifier. The NPX TT is also useful when connecting the NVC TT to a compatible third-party or legacy Naim system that does not provide the necessary power connection.

For a complete New Classic 300 Series system, the NPX TT and NVC TT can be paired with the NAC 332 analog preamplifier, NSS 333 network player and NAP 350 monoblock amplifiers.

Precision Engineering and Aluminum Construction

The NPX TT shares the understated industrial design of Naim's New Classic range. Its aluminum enclosure provides a substantial housing for the internal electronics while helping protect sensitive circuitry from external interference.

A compact, half-width chassis allows the NPX TT to sit alongside the NVC TT, creating a coordinated two-component phono system without occupying the space of two full-width HiFi separates.

The front-panel Naim logo features adjustable brightness, allowing the power supply to integrate visually with other New Classic components and the surrounding listening environment.

What's Included

The NPX TT includes a Naim Power-Line Lite mains cable. The NVC TT phono preamplifier is a separate component and is not included with the NPX TT.
