The Marten Mingus Septet Statement Edition takes the already exceptional Mingus Septet and elevates its internal signal path with Jorma Statement internal wiring and higher-quality crossover components.

It retains the Septet's formidable driver architecture—a pure diamond tweeter, pure beryllium high-midrange, pure ceramic mid-bass driver, dual 8-inch aluminum-sandwich woofers, and dual rear 10-inch passive radiators—while upgrading critical components between the amplifier and drivers.

The result is the highest-performance version of the Mingus Septet.

Statement Edition Upgrades

The Statement Edition receives two important upgrades over the standard Mingus Septet:

Jorma Statement internal wiring replaces the standard Jorma cabling throughout the loudspeaker, providing a reference-level internal signal path handmade in Sweden.

Marten also installs higher-quality crossover components, further refining its first-order crossover architecture and extracting even greater performance from the Septet's diamond, beryllium, ceramic, and aluminum driver system.

Diamond, Beryllium & Ceramic Drivers

A custom 1-inch pure diamond tweeter handles the highest frequencies with exceptional speed, accuracy, and extremely low distortion.

The 3-inch pure beryllium high-midrange driver combines low mass, high rigidity, and excellent damping for exceptional transient response and clarity.

A 7-inch pure ceramic mid-bass driver provides a seamless transition into the lower frequencies while maintaining the speed and natural presentation expected from Marten.

Powerful 23 Hz Bass

Low frequencies are produced by dual 8-inch aluminum-sandwich bass drivers engineered for long excursion and extremely low distortion.

Two rear-mounted 10-inch passive aluminum-sandwich radiators further extend and control the lowest frequencies, allowing the Mingus Septet Statement Edition to reach down to an impressive 23 Hz.

The speaker also provides four levels of bass control, giving greater flexibility when optimizing its performance for different rooms and placements.

Statement-Level First-Order Crossover

Marten's first-order crossover is designed to achieve exceptional time and phase coherence across the four-way driver system.

The Statement Edition takes this architecture further with higher-quality crossover components and Jorma Statement internal wiring.

The result is an upgraded signal path designed to extract the maximum performance from the Mingus Septet platform.

Reference-Level Construction

The cabinet uses substantial 25–40mm fiberboard laminate construction finished in Piano Black, with solid-wood or lacquered top and bottom sections.

Its tapered shape, extensive internal bracing, advanced damping materials, and 4mm aluminum plate are engineered to minimize cabinet resonance and unwanted reflections.

Mirror-polished stainless-steel supports incorporate Marten Isolators developed with IsoAcoustics, mechanically isolating the 211-pound loudspeaker from the floor.
