The Statement Edition retains the extraordinary architecture of the Mingus Orchestra—dual pure diamond drivers, a 7-inch pure ceramic midrange, four 8-inch aluminum-sandwich bass drivers, four rear passive radiators, and Marten's first-order crossover—while upgrading the internal cabling to one of Jorma's reference-level designs.

Jorma Statement Internal Wiring

The defining upgrade is Jorma Statement internal cabling, handmade in Sweden.

Cabling is an integral part of the loudspeaker's signal path, connecting the crossover and drivers directly to the amplifier. The Statement Edition replaces the standard Jorma internal wiring with Jorma Statement, providing a higher-level internal signal path throughout the loudspeaker.

Dual Pure Diamond Drivers

A 0.75-inch pure diamond tweeter and larger 2-inch pure diamond driver handle the upper frequencies.

Diamond's exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio and thermal conductivity allow these drivers to operate with tremendous speed, accuracy, and low distortion.

The result is exceptional resolution and transparency while maintaining the natural presentation that defines Marten.

Ceramic Midrange & Four-Driver Bass Array

A 7-inch pure ceramic driver handles the critical midrange, combining low mass, high rigidity, and excellent internal damping.

Bass is produced by four 8-inch aluminum-sandwich Cell drivers engineered for long excursion, low distortion, and dynamic authority.

Four rear-mounted 10-inch passive aluminum-sandwich radiators further extend and control the lowest frequencies, helping the Mingus Orchestra Statement Edition reach down to 22 Hz.

First-Order Crossover

Marten's first-order crossover is designed specifically around the Accuton Cell drivers to achieve exceptional time coincidence and time and phase coherence.

Premium components include copper-foil air-core coils, silver/copper foil capacitors, silver foil capacitors, and custom-made resistors, with the entire system connected using Jorma Statement internal wiring.

Reference-Level Construction

The cabinet uses 25–42mm fiber laminate construction finished in Piano Black, with solid-wood top and bottom sections handcrafted in Sweden.

Its sculpted shape, extensive internal bracing, and carefully selected materials are engineered to minimize cabinet resonance, reflections, and diffraction.

Polished stainless-steel supports incorporate Marten Isolators developed with IsoAcoustics, mechanically isolating the 288-pound loudspeaker from the floor.
