Overview

Michi X430 Integrated Amplifier

The Michi X430 Integrated Amplifier combines serious Class AB power, a premium digital section, extensive analog connectivity, and Michi's flagship-level construction in a single high-performance component. It delivers 210 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 340 watts per channel into 4 ohms, with an FTC-rated output of 220 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Rotel

At its digital core is the ESS SABRE ES9039Q2M 32-bit DAC, supporting high-resolution PCM through PC-USB, DSD, optical and coaxial digital sources, while HDMI ARC, Bluetooth aptX HD/AAC, MM phono, balanced XLR, RCA and Roon Tested compatibility make the X430 exceptionally versatile for a modern reference stereo system. Rotel

High-Current Class AB Amplification

The X430's Class AB output stage is backed by a custom Michi/Rotel-manufactured toroidal transformer and isolated power supplies engineered to minimize noise and provide stable current delivery. Its 260 damping factor gives the amplifier substantial electrical control over connected loudspeakers. Rotel

Rated output includes:

  • 220 W/ch into 8Ω — FTC
  • 210 W/ch into 8Ω — continuous, non-FTC
  • 340 W/ch into 4Ω — maximum, non-FTC
  • <0.03% THD
  • <0.03% intermodulation distortion Rotel

ESS SABRE ES9039Q2M 32-Bit DAC

The X430 incorporates an ESS SABRE ES9039Q2M DAC for high-resolution digital playback.

PC-USB supports PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz, DSD up to 11.2 MHz (DSD256) and DoP up to 5.6 MHz. Coaxial and optical connections accept PCM up to 24-bit/192 kHz. The X430 is also Roon Tested for integration into Roon-based music systems. Rotel

HDMI ARC for TV Audio

An HDMI ARC input with CEC support allows the Michi X430 to become the centerpiece of a premium two-channel television system without requiring an A/V receiver.

HDMI supports two-channel PCM up to 24-bit/48 kHz, making it easy to combine high-end stereo music reproduction with television and video sources through the same amplifier and loudspeakers. Rotel

Analog, Balanced XLR & MM Phono

The X430 accommodates both modern digital systems and traditional analog sources. Its connectivity includes balanced XLR and RCA line-level inputs plus an integrated moving-magnet phono stage for direct turntable connection. Rotel

The analog line stage extends from 10 Hz to 100 kHz (+0/-0.5 dB), while the MM phono section is specified from 20 Hz to 20 kHz (+0/-0.5 dB). Rotel

Bluetooth aptX HD & AAC

For convenient wireless playback, the X430 supports Bluetooth with aptX HD and AAC. This gives the amplifier an easy wireless option alongside its higher-resolution wired digital connections. Rotel

Michi Design & Full-Color Display

The X430 pairs its internal engineering with a distinctly Michi exterior: an aluminum chassis, glass front panel, precision-knurled volume control, and high-resolution full-color display.

The display supports both spectrum and VU meter views, giving the amplifier a contemporary visual interface without abandoning Michi's minimalist industrial design. Rotel
