The Michi P430 Stereo Preamplifier is the control center of Michi's Prestige Series, combining a low-noise balanced analog architecture with an ESS SABRE ES9028PRO 8-channel 32-bit DAC, moving-magnet phono stage, HDMI ARC, PC-USB, Bluetooth aptX HD, balanced XLR connectivity, and Roon Tested certification. Ultra-Low-Noise Preamplifier Architecture

Michi engineered the P430 around a clean, transparent signal path, isolated power regulation, and balanced signal architecture. The analog section is specified at less than 0.002% total harmonic distortion and intermodulation distortion, with RCA line-level signal-to-noise performance reaching 110 dB. Rotel

ESS SABRE ES9028PRO 8-Channel DAC

Digital conversion is handled by the ESS SABRE ES9028PRO, an 8-channel premium DAC supported by advanced clocking designed to minimize jitter. Rotel

PC-USB supports PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz, DSD256 up to 11.2 MHz, and DoP up to 5.6 MHz. Coaxial and optical inputs support PCM up to 24-bit/192 kHz, giving the P430 the capability to serve as both an analog preamplifier and high-resolution DAC. Rotel

Balanced XLR & RCA Connectivity

The P430 provides both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog inputs and outputs, making it easy to integrate with premium source components and a wide range of stereo power amplifiers.

Balanced output is rated at 2 V with 200-ohm output impedance, while the RCA output provides 1 V at 100 ohms. Rotel

Moving-Magnet Phono Stage

Vinyl playback is built directly into the P430 with a dedicated moving-magnet phono input.

The MM stage provides a 47k-ohm input impedance, 2.5 mV input sensitivity, 69 mV overload capability, and 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response within ±0.3 dB. Rotel

HDMI ARC for Premium Two-Channel TV Audio

HDMI ARC with CEC allows a compatible television to connect directly to the P430, making it possible to use a high-end two-channel system for television, movies, concerts, and streaming video without adding an A/V receiver.
