A Serious Turntable at Its Core

The MTI100 may be an all-in-one system, but McIntosh hasn't treated the turntable as an accessory.

A substantial 7-pound machined-aluminum platter provides the foundation for vinyl playback, joined by a matching machined-aluminum tonearm with anti-skate adjustment.

The turntable assembly sits on a 3/8-inch-thick glass panel, using the same type of glass associated with McIntosh's traditional amplifier faceplates.

Underneath that is a custom 1/4-inch-thick metal plate.

The combined mass of the platter, glass and metal structure helps resist and absorb unwanted vibration before it can interfere with playback.

Vacuum Tubes Where They Matter

Look through the top of the MTI100 and you'll see a pair of 12AX7 vacuum tubes.

They're not there just for appearance.

The tubes power the MTI100's main preamplifier section, bringing genuine McIntosh tube circuitry into this remarkably compact system.

Vinyl playback receives additional attention through a dedicated phono preamplifier housed inside its own custom shielding enclosure, helping prevent interference and unwanted noise from reaching the delicate phono signal.

It's a sophisticated analog front end hiding inside what initially appears to be a simple turntable.

McIntosh Amplification Built In

You don't need an external integrated amplifier or receiver.

The MTI100 includes its own Class D power amplifier, delivering up to 80 watts per channel into 4 ohms or 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms.

Connect your speakers directly to the rear-panel binding posts and you're ready to listen.

That gives you the freedom to choose speakers appropriate for your room rather than being locked into a predetermined all-in-one speaker system.

Vinyl Is Only the Beginning

Despite its analog appearance, the MTI100 was designed for the way people actually listen to music today.

In addition to its turntable, the system provides digital connectivity and Bluetooth, allowing modern digital sources and wireless music to share the same system with your record collection.

There's also an analog input, giving you another option for adding an external source.

So you can spin a record one minute and switch to a digital source the next without needing a separate receiver, preamp or integrated amplifier.

Add a Subwoofer

For listeners who want more low-frequency impact, the MTI100 includes a dedicated subwoofer output.
