Practical System Integration

The MC830 also includes several features that make it easier to live with as part of a complete McIntosh system.

Gold-plated Solid Cinch speaker binding posts provide a secure connection for speaker cables, while Power Control allows compatible McIntosh components to power up and shut down together.

A user-selectable Auto Off function can turn the amplifier off after 30 minutes without an audio signal.

These details may be less dramatic than wattage figures and blue meters, but they matter in a system used every day.
