The DA2 uses an 8-channel, 32-bit DAC in Quad Balanced configuration and provides seven digital inputs, including USB, coaxial, optical, MCT, and HDMI ARC.

Through USB, high-resolution playback extends up to DSD512, while the coaxial and optical inputs support files up to 24-bit/192kHz.

For disc enthusiasts, McIntosh's proprietary MCT connection provides a dedicated digital connection for compatible McIntosh SACD/CD transports.
