MartinLogan USR51 Ultra-Slim 5.1 AV Receiver

The MartinLogan USR51 is an ultra-slim 5.1-channel AV receiver designed to power a complete high-performance home theater while remaining virtually hidden from view. Developed as the electronics companion to the MartinLogan Motion® Discrete Cinema Series, the USR51 delivers 50 watts per channel, Anthem Room Correction (ARC®), HDMI eARC, wireless streaming, and control-system integration. MartinLogan describes the USR51 as the “Invisible Engine” behind a Discrete Cinema system. Its ultra-thin architecture allows the receiver to be concealed behind a television, eliminating the need for a conventional full-size AV receiver and equipment cabinet. MartinLogan

Ultra-Slim 5.1 Home Theater

The USR51 provides amplification for a complete five-channel surround system, making it an ideal partner for MartinLogan's Discrete Cinema LCR speakers and three-channel soundbars.

Its compact architecture is specifically intended for installations where the goal is serious discrete surround sound without visible electronics or bulky loudspeakers. MartinLogan's Discrete Cinema system can therefore keep the television, speakers, amplification, and wiring exceptionally clean while retaining genuine separate speaker channels. MartinLogan

50 Watts Per Channel

MartinLogan officially specifies the USR51 at 50 watts per channel. Motion Discrete Cinema - USR51 …

That makes it a natural amplification partner for the high-sensitivity Motion Discrete Cinema speakers, including the LCR5, LCR7, LCR9, Soundbar 65, Soundbar 75, and Soundbar 85.

Anthem Room Correction (ARC®)

The USR51 includes Anthem Room Correction (ARC), bringing sophisticated acoustic calibration to MartinLogan's compact Discrete Cinema platform. Motion Discrete Cinema - USR51 …

ARC analyzes the interaction between the speakers and listening room and applies DSP correction to improve system performance. It's a significant feature for an AV receiver designed around installations where speaker placement is often dictated by the television and architecture.

HDMI eARC

With HDMI eARC, the television can function as the central source hub for the system. MartinLogan specifically promotes the USR51 around a single HDMI connection to the television, with system volume controllable from the TV's existing remote. MartinLogan

That keeps operation considerably simpler than a traditional equipment-heavy home theater.

Wireless Streaming & Control Integration

MartinLogan's dealer documentation also confirms wireless streaming and control integration. Motion Discrete Cinema - USR51 …

MartinLogan has not yet published enough technical documentation for us to responsibly list specific streaming protocols, network standards, control interfaces, or other detailed connectivity, so I would leave those unspecified until the full USR51 manual or specification sheet becomes available.

Optional 1U Rack Mount Kit

For installations where the USR51 will be housed in an equipment rack rather than concealed behind the television, MartinLogan offers a dedicated 1U Rack Mount Kit for the USR51 Receiver, part number USR51RACKKIT. Motion Discrete Cinema - USR51 …

Confirmed Specifications

The shipping dimensions and weight come directly from MartinLogan's September 25, 2026 dealer price sheet and should not be presented as the physical dimensions of the receiver. Motion Discrete Cinema - USR51 …
