Marten Parker Quintet Diamond Edition Loudspeakers (open box)

The Marten Parker Quintet Diamond Edition takes the flagship Parker floorstanding loudspeaker and elevates its most signal-critical components with a 1-inch pure diamond tweeter, Jorma Statement internal wiring, copper-foil crossover capacitors and upgraded terminals. The core Parker architecture remains: four custom 7.5-inch ceramic bass/midrange drivers, four rear 9-inch aluminum passive radiators, 35 mm M-board construction and Marten Isolators in a 2.5-way floorstanding design. Marten

The Diamond Edition is therefore more than a cosmetic variant. Marten upgrades the high-frequency transducer, internal signal path, crossover components and connection hardware while retaining the Quintet's 24Hz–40kHz ±2dB response, 93dB sensitivity, 4-ohm nominal impedance and 350-watt power rating. Marten

1-Inch Pure Diamond Tweeter

The defining upgrade is the 1-inch pure diamond tweeter.

Diamond combines extremely high stiffness with exceptionally low moving mass, allowing a properly engineered diaphragm to maintain piston-like behavior far beyond the audible frequency range. In the Parker Quintet Diamond Edition, it replaces the ceramic tweeter used in the standard model while retaining the 2,200Hz crossover point.

Marten's Diamond Edition manual explicitly specifies the 1-inch pure diamond tweeter alongside the four ceramic bass/midrange drivers. Marten

The goal is not exaggerated treble. It is greater transient precision, lower coloration and increased retrieval of low-level information at the top of the loudspeaker's operating range.

Four 7.5-Inch Ceramic Bass/Midrange Drivers

Below the diamond tweeter are four custom-designed 7.5-inch ceramic bass/midrange drivers.

Each uses a long-linear-excursion design and neodymium magnet system. Their combined surface area gives the Quintet the ability to move substantial air while retaining the speed and low coloration associated with rigid ceramic diaphragms. Marten

This four-driver array contributes to the Diamond Edition's 93dB sensitivity, dynamic headroom and ability to reproduce large-scale music without losing fine detail.

Four Rear 9-Inch Aluminum Passive Radiators

Four 9-inch aluminum passive radiators occupy the rear of each cabinet.

Rather than using a conventional open reflex port, the passive radiators work with the active ceramic drivers to extend and control low-frequency response. The resulting specification reaches 24Hz ±2dB. Marten

This gives the Parker Quintet Diamond genuine full-range capability while maintaining the speed and articulation expected from the rest of the system.

Diamond Edition Crossover

This is another substantial difference from the standard Parker Quintet.

The ceramic version uses polypropylene capacitors with copper-foil inductors. The Diamond Edition upgrades to copper-foil capacitors and copper-foil inductors. Marten

Marten combines these components with its multi-diverse crossover architecture, crossing the tweeter and ceramic driver array at 2,200Hz.

This upgraded network is particularly important because simply installing a diamond tweeter would not create the Diamond Edition. The crossover and signal path are optimized as part of the complete upgrade.

Jorma Statement Internal Wiring

Where the standard Parker Quintet uses Jorma internal wiring, the Parker Quintet Diamond Edition uses Jorma Statement throughout its internal signal path. Marten

This is one of the most significant distinctions between the two models and deserves prominence on the product page.

Jorma Statement is used to connect the terminal, crossover and drive units, extending the Diamond Edition upgrade beyond the tweeter itself to the wiring carrying the audio signal inside the loudspeaker.

Improved Terminals

Marten also identifies improved terminals as part of the Diamond Edition package. Marten

The dedicated Diamond Edition manual specifies a WBT Nextgen single-wire connection. Marten

Combined with Jorma Statement wiring and the upgraded crossover, the terminal upgrade means the Diamond Edition addresses the electrical signal path from the amplifier connection through to the drive units rather than concentrating exclusively on the tweeter.

35 mm M-Board Resonance-Controlled Cabinet

The Diamond Edition uses the same highly engineered 35 mm M-board cabinet architecture as the standard Parker Quintet.

M-board's multi-layer construction and the cabinet's tapered geometry are designed to minimize resonance and stored energy. Marten's design objective is for the physical enclosure to disappear acoustically rather than overlaying the drivers with cabinet coloration. Marten

At 133 pounds per speaker, the Quintet combines substantial structural mass with extensive mechanical isolation.

Marten Isolators

Mirror-polished stainless-steel supports incorporate Marten Isolators, developed with IsoAcoustics.

These isolate the cabinet from the floor while resisting lateral movement and oscillation. By reducing mechanical energy transfer and internal reflections, Marten targets greater bass definition, clarity and soundstage openness. Marten

The system is optimized for the Quintet's cabinet mass and is suitable for hard floors or carpet.

93dB Sensitivity & Full-Range Performance

The Parker Quintet Diamond Edition retains the standard model's unusually useful combination of:

93dB / 2.83V sensitivity
24Hz–40kHz ±2dB frequency response
350W power rating
4Ω nominal impedance
2.7Ω minimum impedance Marten

The relatively high sensitivity provides considerable freedom in amplifier selection, while the impedance minimum means the partnering amplifier should still offer excellent current capability and stability.

For a loudspeaker at this level, amplifier matching should focus on control, noise floor, tonal quality and current delivery, not wattage alone.

Parker Quintet Diamond Edition vs. Parker Quintet

The two models share the same cabinet, ceramic bass/midrange array, passive-radiator system, sensitivity, impedance, frequency range, dimensions and weight. The Diamond Edition concentrates its upgrades where they have the greatest effect on high-frequency reproduction and signal integrity. Marten

That's why I strongly prefer two Shopify listings. Someone searching “Marten Parker Quintet Diamond” has much stronger and more specific purchase intent than someone searching the base Quintet. We should give Google a page explicitly built around that query rather than burying Diamond Edition inside a variant selector.
