Marten Dexter Quintet Loudspeakers

The Marten Dexter Quintet is the flagship of the Dexter series, bringing technologies developed for Marten's reference loudspeakers into a more accessible design. Handbuilt in Mölndal, Sweden, the Dexter Quintet combines a Marten pure diamond tweeter, ceramic midrange, and dual 9.5-inch carbon-fiber bass drivers in a sophisticated three-way floorstanding loudspeaker.

Designed as a complete system rather than simply a collection of premium drivers, the Dexter Quintet uses Marten's Multi-diverse crossover, Loaded Reflex Line bass system, M-Core triple-layer cabinet construction, and Jorma Duality internal wiring to deliver exceptional resolution, dynamics, scale, and controlled low-frequency performance.

Marten-Designed Drivers

At the top is a 1-inch pure diamond tweeter, chosen for its exceptional stiffness, low mass, and extremely low distortion.

A 3.5-inch ceramic midrange handles the critical vocal and instrumental frequencies, while two 9.5-inch carbon-fiber woofers provide the Quintet's deep, controlled bass response.

Marten's Loaded Reflex Line exits through a wide downward-firing slot, reducing air velocity while allowing deep bass output and greater flexibility with room placement.

Built Like a Marten

The Dexter Quintet uses Marten's M-Core triple-layer cabinet construction with a carbon-fiber laminate surrounding the tweeter and midrange.

Internal signal wiring is Jorma Duality, handmade in Sweden, while the mirror-polished stainless-steel supports incorporate Marten Isolators developed with IsoAcoustics to reduce cabinet-to-floor resonance transfer.

An optional Statement Edition upgrades the internal wiring to Jorma Statement and incorporates higher-grade crossover components.
