Marten Dexter Quartet Loudspeakers

The Marten Dexter Quartet brings much of the technology and performance of the flagship Dexter Quintet into a more compact floorstanding design. Handbuilt in Mölndal, Sweden, the Dexter Quartet combines a Marten pure diamond tweeter, ceramic midrange, and 9.5-inch carbon-fiber bass driver in a sophisticated three-way loudspeaker.

Designed for rooms where the larger Quintet may simply be more speaker than the space requires, the Quartet retains the essential character of the Dexter series with exceptional resolution, transparency, dynamics, and controlled bass performance.

Marten-Designed Drivers

At the top is a 1-inch pure diamond tweeter, delivering exceptional transient response and extremely low distortion.

A 3.5-inch ceramic midrange handles the critical vocal and instrumental frequencies, while a 9.5-inch carbon-fiber woofer delivers fast, controlled low-frequency performance.

Marten's Loaded Reflex Line bass system uses a shaped internal channel terminating in a wide downward-firing slot, helping produce deeper, more controlled bass while providing greater flexibility with room placement.

Built Like a Marten

The Dexter Quartet features Marten's M-Core triple-layer cabinet construction, engineered to minimize unwanted cabinet resonance, with a carbon-fiber laminate surrounding the tweeter.

Internal signal wiring is Jorma Duality, handmade in Sweden, while mirror-polished stainless-steel supports incorporate Marten Isolators developed with IsoAcoustics to reduce resonance transfer between the speaker and floor.

An optional Statement Edition upgrades the internal wiring to Jorma Statement and incorporates higher-grade crossover components.
