Its Class AB amplifier delivers 70 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 100 watts per channel into 4 ohms, bringing expressive dynamics and confident control to compatible loudspeakers. Marantz’s proprietary HDAM circuitry and current-feedback architecture preserve musical nuance, while a toroidal transformer provides a substantial power foundation.
The integrated Marantz Musical Phono EQ moving-magnet stage connects directly to a compatible turntable. Additional analog inputs accommodate a CD player, streamer, tuner, and other sources, making MODEL 50 a flexible centerpiece for your music collection.
Stereo preamplifier outputs, a dedicated powered-subwoofer output, and a power amplifier input provide room to expand your system. Speaker A/B connections support alternative speaker placement or compatible bi-wiring configurations, while the front headphone connection welcomes quieter listening sessions.
