Marantz LINK 10n Reference Network Audio Player & Preamplifier

The Marantz LINK 10n is the company's reference network audio player and a fully featured high-end stereo preamplifier in one extraordinary component.

Designed to partner perfectly with the Marantz MODEL 10—or serve as the centerpiece of virtually any reference two-channel system—the LINK 10n combines high-resolution streaming, HEOS Built-in, Roon Ready support, Marantz Musical Mastering digital conversion, fully balanced analog circuitry, MM/MC phono, HDMI ARC, and extensive digital and analog connectivity.

For listeners looking to simplify a reference system without sacrificing performance, the LINK 10n can effectively replace a separate streamer, DAC, analog preamplifier, and phono preamp.

Reference Streaming

With HEOS Built-in, the LINK 10n provides direct access to today's major streaming services and makes it easy to browse and control music from the HEOS app.

The LINK 10n is also Roon Ready and supports high-resolution audio playback, making it equally at home in a sophisticated network-based music system.

Its large HD TFT full-color display provides album, source, track, and playback information directly from the front panel.

Marantz Musical Mastering

At the heart of the LINK 10n is Marantz's proprietary MMM-Conversion and MMM-Stream digital architecture.

Rather than relying on a conventional off-the-shelf DAC implementation, Marantz developed its own digital conversion technology with selectable digital filters, noise shaping, dithering, jitter reduction, and dedicated master-clock architecture.

Marantz describes the LINK 10n as delivering the best measured performance of any digital product the company has produced.

Fully Balanced Reference Preamplifier

The LINK 10n isn't simply a network player with a volume control.

Its preamplifier section uses Marantz's latest HDAM technology and a fully balanced architecture, allowing it to serve as the complete front end of a serious two-channel system.

Both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog inputs are provided, along with balanced and unbalanced fixed and variable outputs.

Pair the LINK 10n directly with a high-performance power amplifier and you have an exceptionally clean, streamlined reference system.

Premium MM/MC Phono Stage

Vinyl hasn't been forgotten.

The LINK 10n incorporates Marantz's Premium Phono EQ supporting both moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges.

Moving-coil impedance is selectable between 32, 100, and 390 ohms, providing flexibility for matching a wide range of high-performance MC cartridges.

This makes the LINK 10n capable of handling both modern digital streaming and a serious analog turntable system from a single reference preamplifier.

HDMI ARC & 2.1-Channel Capability

The LINK 10n can also become the heart of a premium music and television system.

HDMI ARC with CEC allows compatible televisions to send audio directly to the LINK 10n, while the dedicated subwoofer output with adjustable low-pass filtering makes it possible to build a true 2.1-channel high-performance audio system.

That combination makes the LINK 10n especially versatile for systems where music performance comes first but television audio still matters.

Built Like a Reference Component

Construction is every bit as serious as the electronics inside.

The LINK 10n uses a triple-layer copper-plated chassis, copper-plated rear and bottom panels, isolated internal sub-enclosures, original multi-layer circuit boards, substantial aluminum exterior panels, and solid-aluminum controls with precision bearing construction.

A toroidal power transformer supplies the analog circuitry, while extensive internal isolation helps keep sensitive audio circuits separated from potential sources of interference.

At more than 73 pounds, the LINK 10n is built much more like a reference preamplifier than a conventional network streamer.
