The Marantz CINEMA 40 is a premium 9.4-channel AV receiver engineered for exceptional home theater performance. Designed and manufactured in Shirakawa, Japan, it combines 125 watts per channel, advanced immersive surround sound processing, and 8K video connectivity with the refined musicality that defines Marantz.
Featuring Dolby Atmos, DTS, IMAX Enhanced, and Auro-3D, the CINEMA 40 delivers a powerful, immersive listening experience for movies, music, and gaming. Nine channels of built-in amplification and 11.4-channel processing provide flexibility for sophisticated surround sound installations.
Premium Marantz Amplification
The CINEMA 40 delivers 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms (two channels driven), utilizing discrete Class A/B amplification and Marantz HDAM circuitry.
Its carefully tuned audio architecture provides impressive dynamic range, detailed sound reproduction, and the warmth and musical character associated with Marantz.
Immersive Home Theater Performance
Experience three-dimensional surround sound with support for today's leading immersive audio formats. The CINEMA 40 accommodates configurations such as 5.4.4 or 7.4.2 using its nine internal amplifier channels, with expansion to 11-channel systems through external amplification.
Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room correction is included, with optional Dirac Live upgradability for additional room optimization.
8K Video & Advanced HDMI Connectivity
Seven HDMI inputs support 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz video, making the CINEMA 40 an excellent foundation for premium home theaters and next-generation gaming systems.
Support includes Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDMI eARC, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).
HEOS Wireless Music Streaming
With HEOS built in, enjoy convenient access to popular music streaming services, multiroom audio, and high-resolution music playback.
