The Klipsch THX-5002-S is a THX Ultra Certified in-ceiling surround speaker engineered for dedicated home theaters and premium multichannel audio systems. Featuring dual 5.25-inch Cerametallic woofers, dual 1-inch titanium tweeters and Klipsch Wide Dispersion Surround Technology, it delivers immersive surround effects while maintaining a clean, unobtrusive ceiling installation.

Designed to complement other Klipsch THX-certified loudspeakers, the THX-5002-S combines high-output performance with a fully enclosed, ported cabinet and a paintable, edge-to-edge magnetic grille. It is particularly suited to custom theaters where powerful surround sound and architectural integration are equally important.

The THX-5002-S is engineered for demanding multichannel movie and music playback. Its THX Ultra certification identifies it as suitable for systems designed to reproduce reference-level sound in rooms of approximately 3,000 cubic feet or larger.

With 93dB sensitivity and power handling of 100 watts continuous and 400 watts peak, the speaker is designed to deliver dynamic surround effects in dedicated home theaters.

Its 45Hz–20kHz frequency response provides broad bandwidth for surround-channel content, allowing the THX-5002-S to reproduce both detailed ambient information and impactful effects.

Dual Cerametallic Woofers

Two 5.25-inch Cerametallic woofers provide the THX-5002-S with substantial output capability for an in-ceiling surround speaker.

Their rigid, lightweight cones are engineered to resist unwanted flexing and resonance during demanding playback. The drivers operate within an enclosed, tuned-port chamber that provides predictable bass performance without depending on the available air volume above the ceiling.

Fully Enclosed Architectural Design

Unlike open-back architectural speakers, the THX-5002-S incorporates its own enclosed, bass-reflex cabinet.

A front-facing port works with the dual woofers to provide controlled low-frequency performance, while the enclosed design reduces dependence on the ceiling cavity.

The speaker's circular form factor allows it to be integrated into custom theater ceilings without requiring a conventional wall-mounted surround speaker. Edge-to-Edge Magnetic Grille

A flat, edge-to-edge magnetic grille provides a discreet finished appearance.

The grille can be painted to complement the ceiling, helping the speaker blend into the room. Neodymium magnets provide secure attachment while allowing the grille to be removed for access when needed.
