Inspired by Paul W. Klipsch's original H8 loudspeaker from 1958, the Rebellion brings the efficiency, dynamics and controlled dispersion of the Heritage Series to a compact bookshelf design. Its two-way architecture combines a horn-loaded high-frequency driver with a newly developed woofer, delivering detailed musical reproduction without the footprint of a traditional Heritage floorstanding speaker.

Hand-assembled in Hope, Arkansas, this special edition features genuine book-matched Tigerwood veneer, traditional cloth grilles and an exclusive 180-gram vinyl pressing of Paul W. Klipsch's historic KlipschTape recordings.

The Return of the Original Heritage Bookshelf

In 1958, Paul W. Klipsch developed the H8 as a smaller companion to the Klipschorn and Heresy. Conceived as a center-channel speaker between two Klipschorns in a three-channel stereo arrangement, the H8 introduced a compact alternative to the company's larger horn-loaded designs.

The Rebellion revisits that original concept with modern drivers, refined horn geometry and contemporary cabinet construction. Its high-efficiency design preserves the dynamic character of Klipsch Heritage while providing the placement flexibility of a bookshelf loudspeaker.

The 80th Anniversary Limited Edition adds distinctive materials and a collectible recording that connect the modern Rebellion to the company's early history.

Precision Horn-Loaded High Frequencies

The Rebellion uses Klipsch's K-702 high-frequency driver mounted to a K-703 Tractrix horn with patented Mumps technology.

This combination is engineered to distribute high-frequency energy efficiently while maintaining controlled dispersion throughout the listening area. The horn's geometry helps preserve vocal intelligibility, instrumental detail and the subtle spatial cues that give recordings their sense of scale.

With a sensitivity rating of 95dB, the Rebellion can produce substantial output without requiring exceptionally high amplifier power, making it a versatile partner for premium integrated amplifiers, tube electronics and high-performance separates.

An 8-Inch Woofer with Tractrix-Flared Bass Port

A newly developed K-81-EP 8-inch woofer provides the Rebellion's low-frequency foundation.

The driver operates in a rear-ported cabinet featuring a Tractrix-flared port tube. Its carefully shaped opening promotes efficient airflow and helps reduce unwanted port noise, supporting clean, controlled bass reproduction.

Together, the woofer and port deliver the weight and impact expected of a Heritage loudspeaker in a compact enclosure suited to dedicated listening rooms and premium residential audio systems.

The Tigerwood finish distinguishes the 80th Anniversary Limited Edition from the standard Rebellion.

Each cabinet features genuine, book-matched wood veneer, with carefully arranged grain patterns that highlight the natural variation of the timber. The distinctive striped appearance of Tigerwood gives the speaker a bold visual character while retaining the classic proportions of the Heritage Series.

Hand-assembled in Hope, Arkansas, the Rebellion combines furniture-grade cabinet construction with traditional cloth grilles, a premium input panel and a distinctive Klipsch badge.

An Exclusive KlipschTape Vinyl Pressing

Included with the Rebellion 80th Anniversary Limited Edition is a limited-run 180-gram vinyl pressing of Paul W. Klipsch's original KlipschTape recordings.

Created during the early 1950s, these stereo demonstration recordings capture an important period in the development of high-fidelity audio. The anniversary pressing brings this material back to vinyl, including selections that have long been unavailable.

The record adds a distinctive historical element to the special edition and offers collectors a tangible connection to Paul W. Klipsch's early work in stereo sound reproduction.
