IsoTek V5 Sigmas – 7-Outlet High-Current Power Cleaning System

The IsoTek V5 Sigmas is a high-performance power cleaning and distribution system from IsoTek’s Select Series, designed for complete high-end audio, home theater, and network-based systems. It combines seven independent power-cleaning circuits in one chassis, giving each connected component its own dedicated clean-power path.

With four medium-current outlets for source components and three high-current outlets for amplifiers and other demanding equipment, the V5 Sigmas is engineered to reduce both Common Mode and Differential Mode mains noise while minimizing electrical cross-contamination between connected components.

Seven Independent Power Cleaners in One Chassis

A major advantage of the V5 Sigmas is its Multiple Filter System. Rather than routing multiple sockets through one shared filtering circuit, every outlet has its own dedicated power-cleaning network.

This architecture helps prevent electrical noise generated by one component from contaminating another connected component, making the Sigmas especially suitable for complex systems that combine digital sources, analog electronics, network products, and high-current amplification.

The V5 Sigmas separates its outlets according to component requirements.

The four medium-current outputs are rated at up to 10A each and are intended for source components such as DACs, streamers, preamplifiers, phono stages, disc players, and network equipment. They use IsoTek’s Adaptive Gating® technology, which adjusts the cleaning network according to connected load.

The three high-current outlets are designed for equipment with greater power demands, including power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers, active speakers, powered subwoofers, TVs, and projectors. In the North American version, these outlets support up to 20A / 2,300W total at 115V.

Advanced Noise Reduction

IsoTek specifies up to 80 dB RFI reduction for the V5 Sigmas. Its seven optimized cleaning circuits are designed to reduce both Common Mode and Differential Mode mains noise, while the independent outlet architecture helps prevent noise transfer between connected components.

121,500A Surge Protection

The V5 Sigmas provides 121,500A instantaneous surge protection, helping protect valuable audio and AV equipment from potentially damaging voltage spikes and mains surges.

Premium Internal Construction

Internally, the V5 Sigmas uses silver-plated Ohno Continuous Cast copper solid-core conductors with IsoTek’s FEP-based Virtual Dielectric of Air construction. The design is intended to maintain low resistance and high current capability throughout the unit.
