IsoTek V5 Aquarius – 6-Outlet High-Performance Power Cleaner

The IsoTek V5 Aquarius is a premium six-outlet power cleaning and distribution system from IsoTek’s Performance Series, designed for complete high-performance HiFi and home theater systems. With four independently filtered medium-current outlets and two dedicated high-current outlets, Aquarius provides specialized power cleaning for both sensitive source components and demanding amplification.

Six Dedicated Power-Cleaning Networks

Unlike conventional power strips or conditioners that connect multiple outlets to a shared filtering circuit, the V5 Aquarius provides a dedicated power-cleaning network for every outlet.

This approach helps prevent electrical noise generated by one component from contaminating another component connected to the same conditioner—particularly valuable in systems combining digital sources, analog electronics, and high-current amplification.

4 Source + 2 High-Current Outlets

The Aquarius divides its six outlets into two specialized groups.

The four medium-current outlets are rated at 6A and feature IsoTek’s Adaptive Gating technology, making them ideal for components such as DACs, streamers, preamplifiers, phono stages, CD players, and other source electronics.

The two high-current outlets are designed for equipment with greater power demands, including power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers, powered subwoofers, active loudspeakers, and televisions. In the North American version, these high-current outputs support up to 20A / 2,300W at 115V.

Improved Current Delivery

Compared with the previous Aquarius generation, IsoTek redesigned the V5 circuit architecture with approximately 35% increased PCB copper loading and at least a 25% improvement in Direct Current Resistance (DCR). The goal is to maintain extremely low resistance while allowing connected components to draw the current they require.

Advanced Surge Protection

The V5 Aquarius provides 81,000A instantaneous and 40,000A continuous protection, helping protect valuable audio and AV electronics against potentially damaging electrical surges and spikes.

System Link

The dedicated System Link connection allows compatible IsoTek power products to be connected together while maintaining a common star-ground reference. This provides a clean way to expand a larger IsoTek power system without requiring multiple wall outlets.
