The IsoAcoustics OREA Bordeaux is the highest-capacity model in the OREA Series, supporting up to 32 lbs (14.5 kg) per individual isolator. OREA Isolation for Heavy Audio Components

Heavy amplifiers and turntables can place significant demands on an isolation system. OREA Bordeaux is specifically tuned for these higher loads while retaining the same fundamental isolation approach used throughout the OREA range.

Its upper flange interfaces with the component while the lower flange contacts the supporting surface. Mechanical energy is managed within the tuned internal core of the isolator rather than passing directly between the equipment and rack. IsoAcoustics

Up to 128 Pounds with Four Isolators

Each OREA Bordeaux supports 32 lbs (14.5 kg), giving it twice the individual capacity of OREA Indigo.

This makes Bordeaux particularly useful beneath the massive chassis commonly found in reference-class amplification and analog playback systems.

Match the Isolators to the Equipment

OREA performance depends on selecting the appropriate model and quantity for the equipment's weight.

For example, a 100-lb power amplifier would exceed the capacity of three Bordeaux isolators but would fall comfortably within the 128-lb capacity of four.

Likewise, extremely heavy components can use five or six Bordeaux units where their physical dimensions and weight distribution make additional support appropriate. IsoAcoustics emphasizes staying within the total calculated weight capacity of the chosen configuration. IsoAcoustics

Flexible Placement

OREA Bordeaux can be positioned directly beneath the component chassis when possible, avoiding the factory feet and creating direct contact with the equipment base.

When factory feet cannot be avoided, OREA can also be placed underneath them, although IsoAcoustics prefers an evenly distributed load across the upper surface of the isolator. IsoAcoustics

This flexibility makes OREA particularly easy to integrate with existing high-end audio racks and equipment.

Low-Profile Machined Construction

Despite being the largest OREA model, Bordeaux remains relatively compact at 2.6 inches (67mm) wide and 1.4 inches (36mm) high.
