The IsoAcoustics GAIA-TITAN Rhea is a heavy-duty speaker isolation system engineered for very large floorstanding loudspeakers and subwoofers weighing up to 420 lbs (190 kg) per set of four. Sitting between Theis and the flagship Cronos in the GAIA-TITAN range, Rhea brings IsoAcoustics' patented isolation technology to exceptionally substantial high-end loudspeaker systems. IsoAcoustics

Patented Isolation for Heavy Loudspeakers

With extremely heavy loudspeakers, controlling mechanical interaction between the cabinet and floor becomes a significant part of system setup.

Instead of rigidly coupling the speaker to the floor with conventional spikes, GAIA-TITAN Rhea uses an internal isolation system designed to manage the transfer of mechanical energy.

Only the lower isolator contacts the supporting surface. The metal housing does not create a rigid mechanical bridge around the isolation system, allowing vibration to be managed through the internal isolator. IsoAcoustics

IsoAcoustics designed GAIA-TITAN to reduce vibration while maintaining the stability required by large loudspeaker cabinets, with intended improvements in clarity, openness and focus.

420-Pound Weight Capacity

The GAIA-TITAN Rhea supports loudspeakers and subwoofers weighing up to 420 lbs (190 kg) per set of four. IsoAcoustics

This gives Rhea substantially greater capacity than GAIA-TITAN Theis while retaining a more compact footprint than Cronos.

IsoAcoustics establishes these weight limits according to the performance curve of the isolation system. Exceeding the rating is not recommended; for loudspeakers approaching Rhea's upper limit, the larger Cronos should be considered. IsoAcoustics

Directional Design

Like other GAIA models, GAIA-TITAN Rhea is directional.

For optimal performance, IsoAcoustics specifies that the logo should face forward toward the listening position, in line with the loudspeaker drivers, or be rotated 180 degrees toward the rear.

This aligns the isolators with the motive forces generated by the loudspeaker. IsoAcoustics

Heavy-Duty Threaded Installation

Rhea threads directly into the base of the loudspeaker or subwoofer, replacing the original spikes or threaded feet.

Three thread adapters are included:

• ½"-13
• M8-1.25
• M14-2.0

Alternative thread sizes are available for loudspeakers requiring different hardware. IsoAcoustics

Individual Leveling

Each GAIA-TITAN isolator provides individual height adjustment. The included threads allow approximately ¼ inch of adjustment, helping compensate for uneven flooring and achieve stable contact across all four isolators. IsoAcoustics

This can be particularly valuable with loudspeakers approaching several hundred pounds, where repositioning the cabinet after installation can be difficult.

Carpet Installation

For carpeted rooms, optional GAIA-TITAN Rhea Carpet Disks create a stable connection through the carpet to the solid surface beneath it.
