The IsoAcoustics GAIA-TITAN Cronos is the largest and highest-capacity isolation footer in the original GAIA-TITAN Series. Isolation for Ultra-Heavy Reference Loudspeakers

At this level of loudspeaker design, cabinets can weigh hundreds of pounds and contain multiple high-output drivers capable of generating substantial mechanical energy.

Traditional spikes rigidly couple that energy to the supporting floor. GAIA-TITAN Cronos is designed instead to create a controlled mechanical interface between the loudspeaker and room.

Only the lower isolator contacts the supporting surface, preventing the outer metal housing from creating a rigid path around the isolation mechanism. The internal isolator manages mechanical energy while resisting lateral movement and maintaining the stability required by an ultra-heavy loudspeaker. IsoAcoustics

Massive 620-Pound Capacity

The defining specification of Cronos is its 620-lb (280 kg) maximum capacity per set of four. IsoAcoustics

That places it substantially above:

Directional Isolation

GAIA-TITAN Cronos is directional and should be installed with the IsoAcoustics logo facing forward toward the listening position, aligned with the speaker drivers. Alternatively, the isolators can be rotated 180 degrees to face the rear.

This orientation aligns the isolation system with the loudspeaker's primary motive forces. IsoAcoustics

Heavy-Duty Thread Adapters

Cronos attaches directly to the threaded mounting points underneath the loudspeaker or subwoofer.

The included thread adapters are:

• ½"-13
• M10-1.5
• M14-2.0

Note the difference here: Cronos uses M10-1.5 rather than the M8-1.25 adapter supplied with Theis and Rhea. Additional thread adapters are available for loudspeakers requiring other mounting sizes. IsoAcoustics

Individually Adjustable

Each Cronos isolator can be individually height-adjusted. The included threads provide approximately ¼ inch of adjustment, allowing the loudspeaker to be leveled and each footer properly seated against the supporting surface. IsoAcoustics

With loudspeakers weighing several hundred pounds, establishing stable and even contact at all four mounting points is particularly important.

Carpet Installation

Optional GAIA-TITAN Cronos Carpet Disks allow the isolation system to be used with carpeted flooring.

The disks provide a stable interface through the carpet and underpad to the solid flooring underneath and are rated for the Cronos system's full 620-lb capacity. IsoAcoustics
