Patented IsoAcoustics Isolation Technology

Unlike conventional speaker spikes that mechanically couple the loudspeaker to the floor, GAIA I uses IsoAcoustics’ patented isolation design to provide a controlled path for vibration to dissipate.

The machined dark-chrome metal housing surrounds the internal isolator, but the housing itself does not create a rigid connection with the floor. Only the lower isolator contacts the supporting surface. This helps prevent vibration from bypassing the isolation system through the outer housing. IsoAcoustics

GAIA is also engineered to resist lateral movement and oscillation. This allows the loudspeaker to remain stable while the isolation system manages unwanted mechanical energy.

Designed for Large Floorstanding Speakers

The GAIA I supports speakers and subwoofers weighing up to 220 lbs (100 kg), making it the highest-capacity model in the standard GAIA Series.

This makes GAIA I particularly well suited to substantial high-end floorstanding loudspeakers and large subwoofers that exceed the weight limits of GAIA II and GAIA III. IsoAcoustics

Threaded Directly Into the Speaker

GAIA I is designed to replace the loudspeaker's existing spikes or threaded feet. Threading the isolators directly into the base creates a secure mechanical connection between the loudspeaker and the upper portion of the GAIA assembly.

Directional Installation

GAIA isolators are directional and should be installed with the IsoAcoustics logo facing the listening position or rotated 180 degrees.

This orientation aligns the isolators with the loudspeaker's motive forces and is important for achieving the intended isolation performance. Once installed, the lower portion of the GAIA grips the supporting surface, helping keep the loudspeaker securely positioned. IsoAcoustics

Hardwood, Tile and Carpet Installation

GAIA I can be positioned directly on solid surfaces such as hardwood, tile and other hard flooring.

For carpeted rooms, optional IsoAcoustics GAIA Carpet Disks provide a stable interface through the carpet to the solid flooring underneath. The GAIA isolator sits on top of the carpet disk, allowing the speaker to maintain the intended isolation configuration.

IsoAcoustics also offers application-specific adapters for certain loudspeakers, including solutions for select Bowers & Wilkins, Focal and Sonus faber models. IsoAcoustics
