Designed Specifically for Subwoofers

Aperta SUB isn't simply a conventional speaker stand adapted for subwoofer use. Its isolation system and physical configuration were developed specifically for the large amounts of mechanical energy produced by low-frequency drivers.

The stand measures just 1.3 inches (33 mm) high, allowing it to sit directly beneath the subwoofer without unnecessarily raising the cabinet. Its open, sculpted shape is also designed to avoid interference with many factory-installed subwoofer feet. IsoAcoustics

Patented IsoAcoustics Isolation

IsoAcoustics' directional isolators are designed to reduce the physical transfer of energy from the subwoofer into the supporting surface while also attenuating vibrations reflected back toward the cabinet.

Works With Front- and Side-Firing Subwoofers

The low-profile design is compatible with both front-firing and side-firing subwoofers.

Because the isolators are directional, orientation matters. For conventional front-firing designs, IsoAcoustics recommends positioning the stand with its logo facing forward in the same direction as the driver. For a side-firing subwoofer, the stand should be rotated so its isolators align with the direction of driver movement. IsoAcoustics

Easy Installation

There is virtually no assembly required. Position the Aperta SUB where the subwoofer will be located and carefully lower the cabinet onto the stand.

The subwoofer should be the same size as or larger than the Aperta SUB's footprint. IsoAcoustics notes that a few inches of cabinet overhang on each side is acceptable. IsoAcoustics

Carpet Disks Included

Each Aperta SUB includes four Carpet Disks.

When used on medium- or thick-pile carpet, the disks sit beneath the isolators and provide a more stable connection through the carpet to the solid flooring underneath. On hard flooring, the Aperta SUB can be used without them. IsoAcoustics
