The SilentPower OMNI LAN is a high-performance audiophile network switch designed to address electrical noise and interference in high-resolution music streaming systems. Combining triple-stage isolation, optical galvanic isolation and femto-precision clocking, it provides a dedicated networking solution for music streamers, network DACs, music servers and sophisticated home audio installations.

Unlike conventional Ethernet switches, the OMNI LAN uses optical conversion to electrically isolate network connections, helping prevent unwanted noise from traveling between connected components. Its internal Global Master Timing (GMT) clock provides precision timing, while configurable grounding modes allow the switch to be optimized for different system environments.

With 13 network ports, including four Ultra-Pure connections, the OMNI LAN accommodates everything from a dedicated two-channel listening room to a complex networked audio/video installation. A high-resolution TFT display provides real-time monitoring of incoming and outgoing network traffic, giving users greater visibility into their system's performance.

Designed for both audiophiles and professional integrators, the OMNI LAN also supports external 10 MHz clock synchronization, smartphone-based monitoring and optional rack mounting.

Optical Isolation for High-Resolution Audio

Networked audio systems often combine multiple devices connected to the same router or Ethernet switch. Electrical noise originating from computers, network equipment and other connected components can travel through conductive network connections.

The OMNI LAN addresses this through optical galvanic isolation. Incoming network data is converted into light and then back into an electrical signal, creating electrical separation between the relevant stages. SilentPower combines this architecture with active signal regeneration and its internal GMT clock to reduce network-related interference.

Four dedicated Ultra-Pure ports allow critical playback components to be connected separately from general network devices. Music streamers, network audio players and compatible servers can use these connections, while the eight standard RJ45 ports accommodate other equipment.

The result is a network architecture designed to minimize electrical interference reaching sensitive audio components. The extent of any audible improvement depends on the connected equipment and existing network conditions.

Advanced Network Control and System Integration

The OMNI LAN provides more than conventional Ethernet connectivity. Its configurable grounding modes allow installers to select DC-RF, RF or isolated grounding according to system requirements.

A dedicated 10 MHz BNC clock connection supports synchronization with compatible external clocking equipment. Meanwhile, the integrated TFT display reports live network activity, making it easier to identify active connections and monitor bandwidth.

For professionally installed systems, the optional OMNI Rack Mount Kit supports both front- and rear-facing configurations. It accommodates one or two compatible components, allowing the OMNI LAN to integrate into dedicated audio racks and structured AV installations.
