The ESOTERIC Grandioso M1X is a reference monoblock power amplifier engineered to combine immense loudspeaker control with the transparency, speed, and fine resolution expected from ESOTERIC’s flagship Grandioso Series.

Delivering 300 watts into 8 ohms and 600 watts into 4 ohms, with maximum output reaching 1,200 watts into 2 ohms, the M1X is built for loudspeakers that demand far more than a conventional power rating can reveal.

Ultra-Low Impedance Design

The M1X was developed around ESOTERIC’s philosophy of reducing impedance throughout the signal and power paths.

Heavy-duty internal conductors, optimized circuit layouts, substantial power-supply connections, and carefully selected components minimize electrical resistance between stages.

Reducing internal impedance helps the amplifier react more directly to the loudspeaker load and contributes to the M1X’s damping factor of 500.

The result is exceptional driver control, particularly through the lower frequencies where large loudspeaker motors can place enormous demands on an amplifier.

ES-Link Analog

In addition to conventional balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections, the Grandioso M1X supports ES-Link Analog.

When paired with a compatible ESOTERIC preamplifier, ES-Link Analog uses current transmission rather than conventional voltage transmission.

The system is designed to reduce the effects of cable impedance and improve the integrity of the signal transferred between the preamplifier and power amplifier.

This allows the M1X to become part of a complete Grandioso signal architecture rather than functioning simply as an isolated component.

119dB Signal-to-Noise Ratio

Extreme power is only useful in a reference amplifier if it is accompanied by equally serious noise performance.

ESOTERIC specifies an exceptional 119dB signal-to-noise ratio through the balanced XLR input.
