Following the lead of the previous Eidos Reference SACD model, Goldmund introduces the latest features of its CD player. Similarly to its predecessor, the EIDOS SACD can play a variety of audio formats available on the market (SACD/CD/CD-R/CD-RW/DVD-R*/-RW*/+R*/+RW* (*Audio data file only). Connected to a computer, the Eidos SACD can support PCM audio formats up to 384KHz and to DSD512.

Ever more efficient and compact

For several years, Eidos SACD has inherited the essence of Goldmund technologies to achieve extreme audiovisual quality. Available in its grey finish and maintaining its unique aesthetics, The Eidos SACD benefits from the same audio card as its big brother, as well as a new front panel including the control keyboard. Goldmund thus offers a more compact object without compromise and with an improved ergonomics of the space. For further customisation and precision, the Eidos SACD has alternative digital and analogue outputs at the rear and can be used to connect a wide variety of audio equipment, including a preamplifier, a digital sound processor or an integrated amplifier.

Power to design better

Goldmund engineers have taken into account the limited space available in the device and have devised a shielding solution between the different parts of the product to ensure perfect harmonisation and technicality. This is to avoid any interaction between the various sections of the product, notably the audio card and the power supply. The latter, entirely imagined and designed by our Research and Development department, is more compact and delivers an even better quality available on the old CD/SACD players. A new technological achievement in the world of high-end audio.
