The Gauder Akustik DARC 80 MK II expands upon the engineering of the DARC 60 with a larger enclosure and greater power-handling capability.

Its 2.5-way architecture combines a bass-reflex chamber with a separate sealed chamber, allowing the drivers to handle different frequency ranges while minimizing unwanted interaction between the bass system and midrange reproduction.

At the heart of the design is Gauder Akustik’s sophisticated symmetrical crossover. With filtering exceeding 60 dB/octave, the crossover sharply defines each driver’s operating range.

Time Delay Control addresses timing differences introduced by the crossover, while the ribbed aluminum cabinet and intermediate damping elements are designed to reduce enclosure resonance.

Nine-way room-acoustic adjustment and variable bass extension provide additional flexibility when positioning the loudspeakers in a real listening environment.
