The Gauder Akustik DARC 240 MK II approaches bass reproduction differently from a conventional floorstanding loudspeaker.

Its tall, slender enclosure incorporates four woofers arranged vertically. This distributed bass configuration is intended to excite room resonances more evenly, helping address some of the low-frequency challenges encountered in domestic listening spaces.

The DARC 240 MK II combines this four-woofer architecture with a dedicated midrange section and a beryllium tweeter, which can be upgraded to diamond.

Its aluminum ribbed cabinet incorporates two vented chambers and one sealed chamber, allowing the different driver sections to operate within purpose-designed acoustic environments.

A symmetrical crossover, Time Delay Control, nine-way room adjustment, and variable bass extension complete the system.
