The Focal Stella Utopia EM Evo brings much of the technology and scale of the legendary Grande Utopia into a slightly more manageable three-way reference loudspeaker.

13-Inch Electromagnetic Woofer

One of the defining technologies of Stella Utopia EM Evo is its 13-inch "W" cone electromagnetic woofer.

Instead of relying on a conventional permanent magnet, Focal uses an externally powered electromagnet derived from the technology developed for Grande Utopia EM Evo.

This gives Focal greater control over the magnetic field driving the woofer and allows the bass response to be adjusted to suit the system, room, and listener.

The result is extraordinary low-frequency extension.

Stella Utopia EM Evo reaches 22Hz ±3dB, with a low-frequency point of 18Hz.

Dual Power Flower Midrange Drivers

The midrange is handled by two 6.5-inch "W" cone Power Flower drivers.

Focal's Power Flower motor structure uses multiple ferrite rings positioned around the central core, providing substantial magnetic energy while improving ventilation around the voice coil.

The open architecture reduces compression and helps the drivers maintain their performance even during demanding listening sessions.

The midrange drivers also incorporate Focal's TMD suspension and NIC magnetic circuit technology for greater control and lower distortion.

Pure Beryllium Tweeter

High frequencies are reproduced by Focal's 1-inch IAL2 pure Beryllium inverted-dome tweeter.

Stella Utopia EM Evo uses Focal's third-generation "W" composite sandwich cone technology.

The cone sandwiches a structural foam core between layers of glass fiber, allowing Focal to carefully balance the three characteristics that matter most in a driver diaphragm:
