The Focal DIVA MEZZA UTOPIA takes the concept behind DIVA UTOPIA and makes it bigger, more powerful, and capable of filling substantially larger rooms.

This is a complete high-end Focal and Naim system built directly into a pair of loudspeakers.

Each DIVA MEZZA UTOPIA combines Focal's reference loudspeaker technology with 500 watts of dedicated Naim amplification, high-resolution streaming, wireless communication between the speakers, and Focal ADAPT room optimization.

No separate amplifier. No separate preamp. No external streamer. And no traditional speaker cable running between the left and right speakers.

Focal + Naim in One Complete System

DIVA MEZZA UTOPIA was developed through the combined expertise of Focal and Naim Audio.

Focal handles the acoustic side with its Beryllium tweeter, "W" cone drivers, TMD suspension, NIC motor technology, and push-push woofer configuration.

Naim handles the electronics.

Each loudspeaker contains 500 watts of Class AB amplification, divided specifically among the drivers:

• 280 watts for the woofers
• 130 watts for the midrange
• 90 watts for the tweeter

That's 1,000 watts of total amplification per pair, engineered specifically for the speakers it's driving.

There is no amplifier-matching exercise here. Focal and Naim have already designed the entire system to work together.

Four 8-Inch Woofers Per Speaker

This is where MEZZA separates itself from the standard DIVA UTOPIA.

Each speaker uses four 8-inch "W" cone woofers in a push-push configuration, giving the MEZZA substantially greater low-frequency capability and scale.

Bass extends down to 25Hz ±3dB, with a low-frequency point reaching 22Hz.

That means DIVA MEZZA UTOPIA isn't dependent on a separate subwoofer to produce serious low-frequency energy for music.

The larger bass system also allows the MEZZA to energize substantially bigger spaces. Focal rates it for rooms up to approximately 100 square meters, or more than 1,000 square feet.

Pure Beryllium M-Shaped Tweeter

High frequencies are handled by Focal's 27mm pure Beryllium M-shaped inverted-dome tweeter.

Beryllium's exceptional rigidity and low mass allow the tweeter to respond extremely quickly while minimizing distortion.

Focal combines it with Infinite Acoustic Loading, which controls the acoustic pressure behind the tweeter and reduces internal resonance.

The result is extended, detailed treble without making the speaker overly directional or limiting you to one tiny listening position.

Focal "W" Cone Midrange

A dedicated 6.5-inch "W" cone midrange driver uses both Focal's TMD suspension and NIC motor technology.

The "W" sandwich cone combines light weight, rigidity, and damping, while TMD helps stabilize the suspension and reduce unwanted resonance.

This is the portion of the speaker responsible for voices, guitars, piano, strings, and much of the information that gives music its character.

The goal isn't simply detail.

It's making those instruments and voices sound natural.

High-Resolution Wireless Speaker Connection

The two DIVA MEZZA UTOPIA speakers communicate wirelessly using Ultra Wideband technology.

The connection carries uncompressed audio at up to 24-bit/96kHz, giving you better-than-CD resolution without running a conventional speaker cable across the room.

For installations where aesthetics matter as much as sound quality, that's a major advantage.

High-Resolution Streaming Built In

Naim's Pulse Platform is integrated directly into the system.

Connect DIVA MEZZA UTOPIA to your network through Wi-Fi 6 or Gigabit Ethernet, and your streamer is already built into the speakers.

Using the Focal & Naim app, you can run acoustic tests that allow the system to compensate for the characteristics of the listening space.

That's particularly valuable with a speaker capable of producing bass into the low 20Hz range.
