Overview
Focal 100 OD6 Outdoor Speaker
2-Way Outdoor Loudspeaker • 6.5" Polyglass Woofer • Aluminum Inverted-Dome Tweeter • IP66 Weather Resistance • 120W Recommended Maximum Amplification
The Focal 100 OD6 is a high-performance outdoor speaker engineered to deliver detailed, balanced sound in patios, terraces, gardens, poolside areas and outdoor entertainment spaces. Combining Focal's signature 6.5-inch Polyglass woofer and aluminum inverted-dome tweeter, the 100 OD6 brings high-fidelity sound reproduction to demanding outdoor environments.
Its IP66-rated, UV-resistant enclosure provides protection against dust, powerful water jets and prolonged outdoor exposure. Available in black or white, the cabinet and grille can be painted for seamless integration into residential and commercial spaces.
Focal Polyglass Driver Technology
The 6.5-inch waterproof Polyglass woofer combines a cellulose cone with microscopic glass beads to increase rigidity while maintaining effective damping. This construction delivers articulate midrange reproduction and controlled bass performance.
An aluminum inverted-dome tweeter provides extended high-frequency response and broad dispersion, helping maintain consistent sound coverage across outdoor listening areas.
IP66 Weatherproof Construction
The 100 OD6 features a high-density polypropylene enclosure engineered for outdoor durability. Its UV-resistant construction and fixed aluminum grille protect the drivers from environmental exposure.
With IP66 certification, the speaker is dust-tight and resistant to powerful water jets, making it suitable for year-round outdoor installation when mounted according to Focal's guidelines.
Flexible Outdoor Installation
An integrated mounting bracket allows 180-degree rotation for precise speaker positioning. The rotating Focal grille logo accommodates horizontal or vertical installation.
The speaker's 8-ohm nominal impedance also permits two speakers to be connected in parallel to a compatible amplifier channel, providing additional flexibility for multi-speaker outdoor audio systems.
