The Focal 100 IWSUB8 Amplifier is a dedicated subwoofer power amplifier engineered for the Focal 100 IWSUB8 passive in-wall subwoofer. Designed for custom home theater and architectural audio installations, it delivers 150 watts of continuous power and 200 watts peak at 4 ohms, providing controlled bass performance without visible floorstanding subwoofers.
Its compact, rack-mountable chassis integrates easily into centralized AV equipment systems, making it ideal for media rooms, private cinemas and discreet residential audio installations.
Dedicated Focal In-Wall Subwoofer Amplification
Engineered specifically for the Focal 100 IWSUB8, the amplifier can drive one or two compatible passive subwoofers connected in parallel, with a minimum supported impedance of 4 ohms.
This configuration allows installers to distribute bass throughout a room while preserving a clean architectural appearance.
Adjustable Bass Management
The amplifier provides adjustable controls for integrating the subwoofer with the main loudspeakers. Its 20Hz to 250Hz operating bandwidth and 18dB/octave subsonic filter support controlled low-frequency reproduction.
Dedicated LFE and stereo RCA line inputs accommodate AV receivers, surround processors and compatible stereo systems.
Rack-Mount Integration and Protection
The 1U chassis supports standard 19-inch equipment racks using mounting brackets. On, Auto and Off power modes simplify everyday operation, while integrated protection circuitry safeguards against overheating, short circuits, excessive current and overload conditions.
