Overview
Focal 100 ICW5 2-Way In-Wall / In-Ceiling Speaker
2-Way Coaxial Architectural Speaker • 5" Polyglass Driver • Inverted-Dome Tweeter • 88 dB Sensitivity • In-Wall or In-Ceiling
The Focal 100 ICW5 is a compact 2-way coaxial in-wall and in-ceiling speaker designed for whole-home audio, stereo listening and home theater. Its shallow installation depth makes it especially useful where ceiling or wall space is limited, while Focal's Polyglass driver and inverted-dome tweeter provide the acoustic foundation of the 100 Series. Focal
It is equally at home in a living room, kitchen, bedroom or hallway, or as part of a discreet architectural home cinema system.
5" Polyglass Driver
The 5-inch Polyglass mid-bass driver uses Focal's glass-microbead coating over a cellulose-pulp cone.
The construction combines the damping characteristics of paper with increased rigidity, helping maintain linear response and definition through the midrange. Focal
Focal Inverted-Dome Tweeter
Focal's inverted-dome tweeter is engineered for wide dispersion and low directivity, important when architectural speakers need to cover a broad listening area.
Tweeter level can also be adjusted to better match the acoustics and placement of the speaker within the room. Focal
In-Wall or In-Ceiling
The same 100 ICW5 can be installed in a wall or ceiling, making it a versatile choice for projects requiring consistent Focal performance throughout multiple rooms.
Its mounting depth is only 3.23 inches, making it particularly useful for space-conscious installations. Focal
Moisture-Resistant Polyglass
Focal tropicalizes the Polyglass driver for increased resistance to humidity.
This allows the 100 ICW5 to be used in appropriate humid residential environments such as bathrooms, expanding its usefulness in whole-home audio systems. Focal
Discreet Architectural Integration
A unibody frame and ready-to-paint magnetic grille allow the 100 ICW5 to virtually disappear into the surrounding architecture.
It can be installed in wall or ceiling material from 8 mm to 35 mm thick. Focal

Flexible Whole-Home Audio
The compact 100 ICW5 is particularly well suited to distributed music systems, stereo zones and architectural home theater applications. Its combination of shallow depth and wall-or-ceiling installation flexibility makes it easy to use throughout a larger residential project.
For systems requiring greater output or deeper bass, the 100 ICW5 can be combined with larger Focal architectural speakers and the 100 IWSUB8 architectural subwoofer. Focal
