Overview
Eversolo EM-01 Omnidirectional Measurement Microphone
The Eversolo EM-01 is a precision omnidirectional measurement microphone designed for room acoustic calibration, speaker measurement, and system optimization. Designed to work with compatible Eversolo streamers, it helps analyze your listening environment so room-correction processing can compensate for acoustic problems such as room resonances and uneven frequency response. Each EM-01 includes its own unique calibration file for more accurate measurements.
Precision Room Calibration
The EM-01 uses a 6mm electret condenser capsule with an omnidirectional pickup pattern and a calibrated frequency response of 20Hz–20kHz ±1dB. Its ability to capture sound evenly from all directions makes it ideal for taking acoustic measurements from the primary listening position.
When used with Eversolo's room-correction system, the microphone captures the room response so the system can generate correction filters designed to improve frequency balance and reduce the effects of standing waves and resonances.
