At its core, Eversolo pairs the flagship AKM AK4499EXEQ DAC with the AK4191EQ digital processor, supporting high-resolution playback up to DSD512 and PCM 768kHz/32-bit. A fully balanced analog preamplifier, high-precision R-2R volume control, dual ultra-low phase-noise clocks, and separate linear and digital power sections help provide a clean, dynamic, and highly detailed presentation.

Flagship AKM DAC Architecture

The DMP-A8 Gen 2 uses separate AK4191EQ digital processing and AK4499EXEQ D/A conversion, allowing each stage to perform its dedicated role with exceptional precision. Combined with AKM Velvet Sound technology, the architecture is designed to reproduce vocals, instruments, ambience, and spatial information with excellent clarity and natural musicality.

Performance reaches an impressive 0.000075% THD+N, with balanced XLR outputs offering greater than 129 dB dynamic range and 129 dB SNR.

Fully Balanced Analog Preamplifier

More than a streamer and DAC, the DMP-A8 Gen 2 incorporates a fully balanced analog preamplifier with both XLR and RCA analog inputs.

A precision R-2R resistor-ladder volume control adjusts volume in the analog domain, helping preserve resolution and dynamics instead of relying solely on conventional digital attenuation. The analog input stage also provides up to +10 dB gain, making the DMP-A8 Gen 2 capable of functioning as the control center of a complete two-channel system.

High-Resolution Streaming

It also supports technologies including Spotify Connect Lossless, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, DLNA/UPnP, and Network Audio Adapter. evotune™ PRO Room Correction

Integrated evotune PRO gives the DMP-A8 Gen 2 sophisticated room-optimization capabilities.

Using DRC-based modeling and FIR filtering, the system analyzes frequency, timing, and spatial information to create correction specifically for the listening environment. Measurements can be performed using a compatible professional USB measurement microphone or a smartphone microphone.

A powerful 20-band parametric EQ provides additional control over frequency, gain, and Q, while advanced features include FIR filter importing, loudness adjustment, and dynamic-range processing.

Eversolo AuralEngine

The proprietary Eversolo AuralEngine handles critical USB audio processing and high-resolution signal transmission. The DMP-A8 Gen 2 supports up to Native DSD512 and PCM 768kHz/32-bit through compatible USB and IIS connections.

An easily accessible M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD slot supports up to 8TB of internal storage.
