Esoteric Grandioso PS1 External Power Supply
The Esoteric Grandioso PS1 is a reference-grade external power supply engineered exclusively for the Grandioso K1X SE Super Audio CD Player and Grandioso N1 Network Streaming Player/DAC.
Designed to further elevate Esoteric’s Master Sound Discrete DAC performance, the PS1 provides exceptionally clean and stable power to the analog circuitry. The result is greater clarity, improved separation, lower noise, richer tonal expression, and an even more realistic musical presentation.
Four Independent Power Transformers
At the heart of the Grandioso PS1 are four powerful independent power transformers. Separate transformers supply the D/A conversion and buffer amplifier stages for the left and right channels, creating a highly optimized dual-mono power architecture.
This expanded power supply dramatically reduces interference between circuits while providing substantial DC power reserves for improved dynamics, resolution, and signal-to-noise performance

Enhanced Digital & Analog Separation
When the PS1 is connected to a Grandioso K1X SE or Grandioso N1, the source component's internal analog power transformers are shut down.
The PS1 then provides dedicated high-quality DC power to the analog circuitry, while the source component's internal power supply remains dedicated to its digital and mechanical/network sections.
This separation minimizes electrical interference, transformer vibration, and magnetic flux around sensitive analog circuitry, allowing the system to reproduce music with greater transparency and precision.
High-Rigidity Chassis Construction
Four large transformers require exceptional mechanical isolation. Esoteric utilizes a dual-layer internal chassis to physically separate the transformers from other electrical components.
A heavyweight aluminum enclosure and Esoteric's proprietary pinpoint feet further suppress unwanted vibration and provide an extremely stable mechanical foundation for the power supply.
Ultra-Thick DC Power Cables
Independent left and right DC outputs feature robust die-cast aluminum connectors and are supplied with two ultra-thick 1-meter DC power cables.
The high-capacity connections help maintain exceptionally stable power delivery between the Grandioso PS1 and the connected source component.
