The DALI EPIKORE 3 brings the advanced acoustic technologies of the flagship DALI KORE to a compact, three-way stand-mount loudspeaker. Designed for smaller listening rooms and high-end two-channel audio systems, it combines a newly developed 7-inch Clarity Cone bass/midrange driver with DALI's EVO-K Hybrid Tweeter, delivering the detail, dynamic range, and expansive soundstage associated with the larger EPIKORE models.

Developed, designed, and manufactured in Denmark, the EPIKORE 3 incorporates second-generation Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC Gen-2) technology, a continuous-flare bass-reflex port, and an elegantly curved cabinet finished in real wood veneer and high-gloss lacquer. With a frequency response of 42Hz–34kHz, the EPIKORE 3 is engineered to deliver substantial bass extension and refined high-frequency reproduction from a stand-mount design.

7-Inch Clarity Cone Driver with SMC Gen-2

The EPIKORE 3 features a newly developed 7-inch bass/midrange driver incorporating DALI's Clarity Cone technology. Its paper and wood-fibre diaphragm features a specially engineered geometric structure that helps damp unwanted resonances and control cone breakup.

The driver's large magnetic motor system uses DALI's patented SMC Gen-2 material, originally developed for the flagship KORE. Unlike conventional iron-based magnetic materials, SMC has extremely low electrical conductivity, helping reduce eddy currents and magnetic hysteresis within the motor system.

By addressing these sources of distortion, DALI aims to preserve low-level detail and maintain accurate reproduction across the driver's operating range. The 7-inch driver handles both bass and midrange frequencies, providing the foundation for the EPIKORE 3's three-way architecture.

EVO-K Hybrid Tweeter

The EPIKORE 3 incorporates DALI's EVO-K Hybrid Tweeter, combining a large 35mm soft dome with a 10 × 55mm planar magnetostatic element.

Developed from the high-frequency architecture of the DALI KORE, the EVO-K module uses powerful neodymium magnet systems and two complementary tweeter designs. The soft dome handles the main high-frequency range, while the planar element extends reproduction into the upper treble.

The hybrid configuration is engineered for wide horizontal dispersion, allowing the EPIKORE 3 to maintain consistent tonal balance across a broader listening area. Its extended frequency response and controlled dispersion help reproduce the subtle harmonic information, spatial detail, and transient character of demanding musical recordings.

Precision Three-Way Crossover

The EPIKORE 3 uses a three-way crossover network with crossover frequencies of 2.8kHz and 12.5kHz.

The 7-inch bass/midrange driver reproduces the lower and middle frequencies, transitioning to the 35mm soft-dome tweeter at 2.8kHz. The planar magnetostatic tweeter takes over the highest frequencies above 12.5kHz.

This arrangement allows each driver to operate within its intended frequency range while maintaining the wide-dispersion characteristics central to DALI's loudspeaker engineering.

Continuous-Flare Bass-Reflex Port

The EPIKORE 3 features a continuous-flare bass-reflex port designed to manage airflow and reduce turbulence as the 7-inch driver produces low frequencies.

The carefully developed port geometry helps minimize unwanted port noise and compression during demanding musical passages, supporting the speaker's low-frequency extension down to 42Hz.

For a stand-mount loudspeaker, this combination of a substantial bass/midrange driver and optimized bass-reflex enclosure provides the foundation for convincing bass reproduction without requiring a full-size floorstanding cabinet.

Danish Cabinet Construction and Optional EPIKORE Stand

The EPIKORE 3's curved cabinet combines rigid construction, real wood veneer, and multiple layers of high-gloss piano lacquer. Its solid enclosure is engineered to reduce unwanted cabinet resonance while complementing the speaker's advanced driver technology.

Available in High-Gloss Black, Walnut, and Maroon, the EPIKORE 3 brings the craftsmanship of DALI's reference loudspeakers to a compact format.

For dedicated installations, the optional EPIKORE STAND provides a rigid, extruded-aluminum foundation with a machined top plate, integrated cable routing, adjustable floor spikes, and provision for sand filling. The stand is designed specifically for the EPIKORE 3 and is available separately.
