Overview

EMM Labs TXi Reference CD Transport

The EMM Labs TXi is a reference-level CD transport created for listeners who want uncompromising playback from their compact disc collections. Designed as the final component in EMM Labs' flagship digital front-end ecosystem, the TXi is a purpose-built 16-bit/44.1 kHz Red Book CD transport engineered to extract and deliver digital data with exceptional timing accuracy and minimal noise.

At its heart is a unique hybrid drawer and top-loading transport mechanism with an integrated suspension system that isolates the disc mechanism from external vibration and chassis-borne noise. The transport is housed within a precision-machined, internally damped aluminum chassis designed for exceptional rigidity and mechanical stability.

Designed for EMM Labs Reference DACs

The TXi features EMM Labs' proprietary EMM Optilink optical interface, providing a galvanically isolated, clock-synchronized digital connection to the EMM Labs DA2i and DV2i converters. When paired together, the DAC becomes the primary interface for the transport, creating a unified EMM Labs digital playback system.

Power comes from EMM Labs' next-generation proprietary high-isolation resonant-mode power supply, engineered in-house to minimize ripple, switching noise and interference throughout the digital signal path.
