The EMM Labs PREi is the company's most advanced reference analog preamplifier to date, designed to serve as the control center of an uncompromising high-end audio system. Building on more than two decades of EMM Labs and Ed Meitner analog engineering, the PREi is designed and manufactured in Canada with an emphasis on transparency, signal purity and precise control.

At its core are fully discrete, dual-balanced signal paths paired with sophisticated contactless switching. EMM Labs' MVControl³ provides software-controlled, fully analog volume adjustment, maintaining signal integrity throughout the listening range without placing conventional digital volume processing in the signal path.

Advanced Analog Architecture

The PREi incorporates EMM Labs' proprietary Meitner Audio Architecture (MAA) circuitry, Class A amplification and custom MCeraTek ceramic circuit boards engineered to preserve extremely low-level musical information.

Power is supplied by the third-generation MXPower³ high-isolation resonant-mode power system, developed in-house to provide exceptionally quiet, stable power with the transient capability required by a reference analog component.

A precision-machined aluminum chassis, large OLED display, programmable input settings and machined aluminum remote complete a preamplifier engineered without compromise.
